Account Eligibility & Setup

Age & Identification Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age and provide valid government-issued identification. Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport and Social Security Number or Tax ID. All information must be accurate, current, and complete.

Account Maintenance

You are responsible for maintaining your account information and keeping it current. Notify us immediately of any changes to your address, phone number, or employment status. Failure to maintain accurate information may result in account restrictions or closure.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sovereign Crest Bank customer, you agree to:

  • Protect your login credentials and never share your password
  • Review all account statements and transactions for accuracy
  • Report unauthorized access within 30 days of discovery
  • Not use your account for illegal or fraudulent purposes

Fee Disclosure

All applicable fees will be disclosed prior to account opening. We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days' written notice. A schedule of current fees is available upon request or online at sovereigncrestbank.com.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized transaction
  • Money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions violations
  • Identity theft, forgery, or impersonation
  • Hacking, phishing, or attacking our systems
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward staff
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Dispute Resolution

Reporting Disputes

If you identify an unauthorized transaction or error in your account, you must notify us within 30 days to receive protection under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act. Contact our dispute resolution team immediately at disputes@sovereigncrestbank.com or 1-800-BANK-123.

Resolution Process

We will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days and provide a written investigation update within 10 business days. We will make a final determination within 45 days. For complex disputes, we may extend the investigation to 90 days with written notice.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Email notification to your registered address
  • In-app notification within your online/mobile banking
  • Posted announcement on our website homepage

Your continued use of our services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
